we were supposed to design a ready-to-wear outfit inspired by an avantgarde piece by our designer of choice.
i chose a coat from Christian Dior's spring couture collecton in 2007.
as you can see, i tried to keep the flow, elements, color palette and pattern in the coat i designed. however, i still wanted it to be an original piece/ my original design. i really liked the sandals in the picture and tried to keep the ballet tie idea, but i put boots, because it is more practical when wearing a coat. cause, it's probably chilly outside, isn't it?
