Designs for the Center Stage: Challenge 1 on the Fashion Designer Group [link]

these were the rules:
1. Design 2 outfits for the Musical Cinderella- Keep in mind that these are outfits for a stage! Go wild with the ideas. Fantasy,
Futuristic, classic..it's your choice!
2. Your first design will be for the character of Cinderella -Don't forget the glass slipper!
3. For the second design choose a character: The Fairy Godmother, The evil stepmother or Prince Charming
4. Got to the gallery of the designer that has been assigned to you and pick one of their designs as your inspiration:
-You will adopt the color scheme for your designs.
-There has to be elements of the original in your design (be it style, a pattern, a collar, a shape)

and of course, as you can see, i picked Prince Charming as my second design.
i wanted the costumes to flow in this romantic kinda feel but whimsical as well. and the scene to fit exactly that. you know,... soft pastel lights hanging in the trees, white clean sidewalk for an evening stroll..... to keep it all - as you can see
